 Protect Against Holiday Cyber Scams

It might not be at the top of your holiday preparation list, but The Florida Bar Practice Resource Institute is reminding all Bar members to make sure you are protected from holiday phishing scams or malware campaigns.

NEW CLE: Growing the Small Firm Through Effective Management
Dec. 13 Audio Webcast – Course 2690R

Kevin D. Johnson of Johnson Jackson LLC in Tampa will discuss strategies for managing and growing small firms, including the use of appropriate internal financial reporting, the development of compensation strategies, budgeting processes, and the hiring and management of additional attorneys and staff. The discussion will be applicable to those who are aiming to grow beyond solo status by adding other attorneys as well as those who already work in small firms.

Johnson is a Florida Bar board certified labor and employment lawyer. He and Erin Jackson recently founded Johnson Jackson LLC, which is a seven-attorney employment-law firm based in Tampa. His insights and experience will assist you in developing strategies to effectively structure and manage the growth of your firm. He is a former chair of the Solo & Small Firm Section and The Florida Bar’s Technology Committee and Special Committee on Technology and Office Resources.

The webcast is noon – 1 p.m. on Dec. 13 and is approved for 1.0 General CLE credit. Section members’ discounted registration is $75.
