Golden Rules for Introverts

Three Golden Rules to Help Introverted Lawyers Speak Up

Introverts bring a quiet power to their work. They ask insightful questions that can influence important decisions. Comfortable behind the scenes, they demonstrate an ability to listen that draws people out and allows them to express themselves freely. But if you are an introvert, you face the reality that to build a successful legal career you must speak up and be heard. With careful reflection and strategic planning, you can break into a conversation or contribute your ideas at a meeting—even in a room full of social dynamos.  LEARN HOW

PDF Search

How to Search Multiple PDF Files Using Acrobat Reader

Tech tip from The Florida Bar:  No matter what PDF tool you use, these steps will be similar. Here’s how to search multiple PDFs:

  • Open Acrobat Reader or your PDF tool on your computer.
  • Click on the Edit menu and select Advanced Search.
  • You’ll be prompted by a window to navigate to where you would like to search “All PDF Documents.” Choose the folder where your PDF files are located.
  • Enter your search term and click on the Search button.
  • If prompted, click “Allow” on the screen.

The software will search for your given term in all the searchable PDF files in your specified folder. You’ll see the results right in the search pane.
