Avoid Holiday Stress

How to Keep Holiday Stress From Undoing Your Entire Year

It’s called “the most wonderful time of the year” but holiday festivities and fun can be pushed aside by financial worries, work stress, substance abuse and family squabbles. For lawyers, end-of-year stressors can mean breaks in their processes, system overloads and ethics breaches. The first step in balancing holiday stress is to acknowledge it. Don’t act like it doesn’t faze us. Make sure your calendar is updated with all the unusual events and holiday court closings, reassure your clients that you’re taking care of their cases over the holidays and take time to celebrate your 2019 wins. This article gives you some great tips for coping with stress during the holidays.
