New Twitter Feature Can Benefit Solos and Small Firms

A new Twitter option allows businesses to apply for professional profiles. It is an excellent opportunity for smaller firms to expand their visibility significantly.

Previously, Twitter invited businesses to get a standard profile, but now, by meeting certain criteria, you can get a professional profile—and it’s free! You can include information such as location, a map, and directions to your office that cannot be added to standard profiles. You can also add operating hours and availability via phone, text and email, and use the Twitter Direct Message feature. Here are the requirements to qualify.

Ethics Reminders for Lawyers Texting Clients

It’s a reality:  Texting is the preferred method of communication for many people today. But you do have ethical obligations to clients who want to converse with you via text. Texting can be a useful tool, so be upfront about how you may use it as well as its limitations.
